I am a TODDLER!

Jeremy started taking a few steps around his first birthday and perfected his "toddling" over the next months.  Here he is in mid-September cruising around his room.

Ready for the Military

It was time, once again for a haircut.  Jeremy gets his hair cut as often as we do, so to try to lengthen time between visits to his stylist we went short this time.  Maybe a bit too short, we think the local recruiters might want him now.  Especially if they saw his army crawl.  But do you think they serve cherrios in the mess hall?

My 1st CAL game

Jeremy supported his Bears at the first game of the CAL football season.  CAL beat Michigan State and Jeremy collected all the pom poms he could in our section.  It was a winning day for all!

I AM ONE!

Jeremy is one! We can't believe it, but he's now a toddler. And he's taking his new status seriously. He just started to stand on his own and take a few wobbly steps forward.

In the last year Jeremy has gained 12 pounds and grown 8 1/2 inches. He's gone from a chubby little blob to a trim little ball of laughter.

We're so happy that so many friends and family members could join us for Jeremy's special day. Here are a few of the highlights...and many more at the link to the right!

Luau and Wedding

Jeremy loved hanging out with Aunty Lysa.  They had dinner together and she showed Jeremy how to have lots of fun at a Luau.

Jeremy looked worried that his boat might have sprung a leak, but Uncle Tim was there to make sure all was ok.  He is a former Navy man!

After a hard day of playing in the water and at the beach Jeremy relaxed in his personal cabana.

Family Gatherings

We all were so excited to visit Jeremy's Great Grandma and Uncle Yasuo. We would wake up early (pretty easy for Jeremy) and have breakfast with them and usually have dinner with them too. They are both doing very well at Hale Makua.


We had fun with Jeff, Vesta, and Aunty Kiyoko at a family graduation party.

And we finally got to partake in the Changing of the Guards Dinner at Yaki Niku House. Yum!

Aloha from Hawaii

Jeremy visited Hawaii in July. First we spent time in Maui visiting family. Then it was on to the Big Island for Pete's wedding. Jeremy was great on his longest plane ride yet. He enjoyed all the the people and then he and Doggie slept until we landed in paradise.

Captain Jeremy

Last weekend Jeremy visited Grandpa, Uncle Phil, and Uncle Rich in Sacramento. Boy was it hot! But no worries, Uncle Phil bought Jeremy his first boat and he loved cruising the high seas in Uncle Phil's pool.

Father's Day

John celebrated his first Father's Day and he had a great time! Mommy and Jeremy took him out to his favorite breakfast place (Homemade Cafe!) and they spent the afternoon in San Francisco getting his new watch fitted. The rest of the day was spent hanging out with the family and it couldn't have been better!
