Back with Family

A dinner celebration in Leon to say good-bye to family.

More good-byes at the airport.

On the way home we put Jeremy to work taking home all his souviners.

Sites to see in Guanajuato

Jeremy was a huge help guiding us around town and pointing out the sites.

A little bit of romance at "Calle de Beso", a Mexican story similar to Romeo and Juliet.

View from the top of town.

The University where international students learn Spanish.

Grandpa and Jeremy viewing beautiful murals.

Road Trip to Guanajuato

Guanajuato, about an hour from Leon, was a beautiful historical town. We rented this house in the heart of the the town.

Our house was walking distance to the center of town where we enjoyed dinner the first night. All the sites, restaurants, street entertainment, and plazas were right downtown too. We fell in love with the cobblestone streets, and colorful buildings in this town.

Grandma bought Jeremy a little turtle that he pulled all around town.

Typical statue.

Fiesta!

John hadn't visited in 6 year. He had a wonderful time catching up with all the family. Luckily we saw everyone at Cruz's mother's birthday.

Mariachis played beautiful music into the evening. It was a nice rest after eating the best Mexican food EVER, playing in the pool, dancing to the Northern Mexican live band, and playing a little soccer. Who knew you could do so much in one party??

Jeremy took some time out to sit by the pool and catch up with the girls.

Meeting the family

We visited the main square in Leon with Cruz, Stella, Mimi, and Angie. It was full of people, music, and toys for the kids.

Jeremy had a blast with his cousins, they had cool stuff to play with.

And his Aunty Lupita and Aunty Rosa we're very sweet too!

Donde????

On April 3rd Jeremy jetted off to Mexico to visit Dad's family in Leon, 3 hours outside of Mexico City. He loved the plane, but fortunately for us he was asleep 30 minutes after take off. We LOVE how Jeremy travels.
